Zusammenfassung: | This paper looks at the education of Roma students through a dual lens: the sociopolitical and the cultural. Consideration is given to the construction of identity in these students in today's context of globalization and hybridization, while emphasising three elements of Roma culture: family, religion and the education of the young. In conclusion, the paper offers a set of proposals to change educational policies and other systematic aspects of school organization to enable Roma students to achieve school success. |
