Zusammenfassung:	The New England Conservatory of Music (NEC) received a significant new collection of American composer George Whitefield Chadwick materials that had been unavailable since 1932. Among hundreds of items of special interest, the collection includes two manuscript vocal scores for an opera, manuscript materials for two unfinished choral works, and 33 sketchbooks dating from 1879 to 1925. In November 2004, NEC will initiate festivities to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Chadwick's birth.
