Zusammenfassung: | Electron donor and acceptor polymer chains were connected via a Ru(II) dye to form a linear photoredox‐active architecture predestined for efficient light‐induced charge separation. The modular assembling strategy benefits from the separately prepared units and highly efficient coupling reactions. Upon excitation of the dye a long‐lived charge separation in the μs time scale is observed with significantly reduced recombination in comparison to low‐molecular model systems or non‐conjugated congeners.
