Zusammenfassung:This review summarizes data on the interaction of effects arising as a result of activation of receptors for the main neurotransmitters in the CNS – glutamate and GABA. Reports on the structures and functions of the receptors for these signal substances are presented, and questions of their colocalization in synapses and interactions between the effects of activation of both ionotropic and metabotropic receptors for these neurotransmitters at the postsynaptic level are discussed.
