Zusammenfassung:Review of studies of music therapy provides evidence of its important role in the nondrug treatment of patients with acute and chronic diseases, including demyelinating disorders. Existing research has demonstrated the efficacy of music therapy in terms of both improving patients’ social skills, improving cognitive functions, decreasing the severity of depression and anxiety, and improving sleep and decreasing pain in patients with multiple sclerosis.
