Zusammenfassung:The structure of acrolein-modified chitosan films was studied by IR spectroscopy. Modification makes the films more hydrophobic. The physical and mechanical properties of films modified with acrolein solutions of low concentrations are improved relative to the unmodified films. The glass transition and decomposition temperatures of the samples were determined by dynamic mechanical and thermal gravimetric analysis. The possibility of using the materials for the development of matrices for tissue engineering was demonstrated.
