Zusammenfassung:IAA-oxidase activity was determined in etiolated 7-day-old winter wheat leaves of the variety Grana and in maize leaves of the variety KbDc-310. The results indicate that IAA applied before seeding (1.10-5 M) depresses IAA-oxidase activity in the roots and shoot of the cereals tested under conditions of mannitol osmotic stress (-4.84 bar and -9.68 bar).
