Medición de la calidad del agua del trasvase del Ebro (tramo Castellón-Mijares): valoración del coste económico asociado a la adecuación de calidades

Water quality is one of the main problems in surface water transfer. In this work we make a economic valuation of a transfer of water from the Ebro River to the Júcar Basin, derived from the adequacy of water quality to legal quality standards. We propose a global quality index and different scenarios of river discharges are considered refered to the Castellón-Mijares section. In this work only physical and chemical parameters are used to define water quality, those parameters considered in the European Union Directives and from which sufficient information were available.
