Zusammenfassung: | In an affort to introduce the key issues confronting those who wish to effectively evaluate programs for gifted and talented learners, we interviewed joseph Renzulli, Ph.D., who is a Professor of Educational Psychology and Director of the Program for Gifted and Talented at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Renzulli is a widely-recognized advocate and researcher in the field of educating the gifted, and has most recently been active in the field-testing and evaluation of the “Revolving Door Model” for providing educational services to young people. In the course of this interview, Dr. Renzulli points out several important areas for our concern, and sets the stage for the excellent topical articles that follow in this issue. |
