Zusammenfassung:Background Transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR) has recently been described as a feasible option for high risk patients with severe native and prosthetic mitral valve disease. Conclusion Transcatheter mitral valve replacement in high risk patients with failed bioprosthetic valves or annuloplasty rings is a safe and effective option.
