Eustathius of Antioch's Attack on Origen: What Is at Issue in an Ancient Controversy?

Eustathius's treatise "On the Medium," the first response by a theologian from Antioch to Origen's exegesis of 1 Samuel 28, has attracted scholars who posit a distinctively Antiochene school of Christian theology in opposition to a supposed Alexandrian school.
