Through careful investigation of influencing parameters (the photocatalytic performances, the structure and surface characteristics of the catalysts), the selective degradation of various dyes is closely related to the adsorption selectivity of the porous g-C

N
4
catalysts, which originated from the different surface charge. This study provides a new insight into developing metal-free g-C
3
N
4
photocatalyst with high efficiency and selectivity in environmental purification. |
