Zusammenfassung: | The European social model, sprang from the permanent concern of the European community for aspects of social policy, has one of the most important moments of its evolution around the year 2000, when passing from an approach that is based on minimizing negative social consequences caused by structural changes to an approach that aims at modernizing the European social system and increase investment in human capital. In other words, through this reform, it passes from a quantitative to a qualitative approach and the principle underpinning the social model is strengthening the role of social policy as a productive factor, ie integrating social policy with economic and employment policy. As a member of the European Union, the Romania's social policy is also continuously and steadily ongoing transformation, adapting to both Community priorities and specific national priorities. |
