Zusammenfassung:An abstract of a study by Eier et al examining the effects on a decoquinate medicated feed compared with a control feed on the coccidia rates in early gestation goats is presented. Goats fed the decoquinate medicated feed had a significant decrease in eggs per gram. Results indicate that decoquinate reduced rates of coccidiosis and, overall, decreased oocysts numbers.
