Polygenic character of determination of reproductive traits of Belarus meat-type pig breed

The genetic structure of a population of sows and boar sires of the Belarus meat breed has been studied with respect to genes ESR, PRLR, FSHβ, and RYR1. The effect of polymorphous variants of the given genes on indices of the reproductive function of these animals has been established.
