Zusammenfassung: | Split liver transplantation (LT) provides two functional partial grafts from one deceased donor liver. Split liver grafts are most commonly shared by a child and an adult. In the present study, we present our technique of in situ split LT for two adult recipients. In the right lobe graft, V5 and V8 were reconstructed using the donor's iliac vein to drain the anterior segment. In the second recipient, the inferior vena cava was incised and connected to three hepatic veins to create greater outflow. The middle hepatic artery was reconstructed with gastroduodenal artery to make one artery branch in the left lobe. In situ split LT for two adults is safe and feasible in select donor–recipient‐matching cases. |
