Zusammenfassung:The Brown-Carlsen Listening Comprehension Test was first published in 1953, and since that time has been used to test listening comprehension for large groups. This test can be especially valuable as a research tool because much normative data are available in the test manual, as well as indices of correlation with other standardized tests. Experiments requiring an estimate of individual differences for covariance analysis relating to speech and listening variables can use this test to good advantage.
