The Bounds of Immunity: The Sá Case. Politics, Law, and Diplomacy in Commonwealth England
The Sa case, one of the best known cases of diplomatic immunity, is discussed. After Dom Pataleone de Sa e Meneses was deemed responsible for killing an innocent man, Sa was not protected by the umbrella of diplomatic immunity (although he would be currently) but was executed.
