Zusammenfassung:•The magnetic properties of Aurivillius phases Bim+1Fem−3Ti3O3m+3 (m=5.5, 7, 8) were studied.•The alternating-layer phase with m=5.5 is magnetically ordered material with TN≈175K.•Magnetic order of a weak ferromagnetic type was shown to exist in compound with m=5.5. The magnetic properties of the Aurivillius phases Bim+1Fem−3Ti3O3m+3 with the number of layers in the perovskite-like block m=5.5, 7, 8 were studied. These phases were found to possess magnetically ordered states at temperatures ranging from 175 to 255K. Magnetic order of a weak ferromagnetic type was shown to exist in the alternating-layer phase with m=5.5, which has a transition temperature of about 175K.
