Zusammenfassung:Measures of sociometric status, reading achievement and teacher preference and ratings of acting-out and shy-anxious behavior were obtained for a sample of kindergartners and first graders. Early teacher preference predicted subsequent peer rejection, but prior peer rejection did not predict subsequent problem behavior or teacher preference.
