(May 25 issue)1 describe the implementation of medical assistance in dying (referred to as MAiD in Canada) after the legalization of the program in that country. In their report, the authors acknowledge the need to support staff members who are involved in MAiD.2 As a large Canadian academic center, the Ottawa Hospital developed a Resiliency Program with the implementation of MAiD.
