Zusammenfassung: | An abstract of a study by Drake et al presenting interview data related to young fathers' use of and attitudes toward contraception and potential influences on the young women in their lives is presented. Male partners can be gatekeepers or be highly influential when it comes to their partner's or their own use of contraception. They have a role to play in prevention of rapid repeat pregnancy. Their data show that too many young men are not using condoms or ensuring their partners are using some form of contraception. |
