Zusammenfassung:Clinical trials often require adolescent assent and parental consent/permission: thus presenting the possibility that dyads may not agree about participation. However, little is known about how this discordance is managed. Here, an abstract of article by Francis et al analyzing conversations between adolescents and parents about a hypothetical reproductive health clinical trial in order to understand the management of discordance is presented.
