Group-Based Trajectories of Parental Monitoring Components Between Sexual Minority and Heterosexual Girls and Their Associations With Substance Use

Sexual minority girls (SMGs, girls who identify as lesbian or bisexual, have same sex attractions, or have same sex partners) are at high risk for substance use. Here, an abstract of an article by Montano et al identifying the trajectories and determining if SMGs tend to belong to less protective trajectories.
