Zusammenfassung:In early 2011, based on full investigation and survey, Shiyan municipal Party committee and government carried out the "Four Million" Key Featured Industrial Construction Project centered with tea, Chinese herbs, walnut, and goat, and conducted the Construction of "61 " Characteristic Ecological Industries during the 1З*1 Five-Year Plan, which further clarified the development focus, strengthened the advancing efforts, and set off a new upsurge of the construction of industrial bases. [...]with the increase of the planting area of walnut, walnut yield is not satisfactory, and varieties and cultivation techniques are the two weak points of walnut production[3_4], so it is in urgent need of appropriate cultivation varieties and a set of high yield cultivation techniques to turn losses into gains. [...]two high-quality walnut varieties, Qingxiang and Liaohe 1, were selected for regional development through field survey, extensive experience exchange and 6 years of regional tests, and the main features and cultivation techniques of the 2 walnut varieties were introduced as follows. [...]at the 5? year after planting, Liaohe 1 has an average ground diameter of 6.1 cm, tree height of 3.16 cm, and crown breath of 7.54 m2. [...]thin planting is suitable for the cultivation of Qingxiang, while the density should be a little tighter for Liaohe 1. According to the records of male and female flowering periods and the actual observation results, the flowering phases of Qingxiang are completely different, which requires to allocate pollination trees with the same male flowering period.
