Zusammenfassung: | [...]once the inseparable link between architecture and technology is acknowledged, as in the case between architecture and urban structure (see Gennaro, 2008), that makes what technology can specifically offer an idea of the city a key contribution (1). Furthermore, the special reason why Turin is so interesting when researching technology is that a large number of these works were either metal structures or with a light interface, which helps us understand whether some cases it was the only solution for city policies to implement viable changes in difficult key areas and complex organisms given all the issues. Interviews with privileged witnesses such as designers, site managers, and technical engineers from companies made it possible to gather data on the architectural vision, construction choices, building site issues which special attention to the metal structures and closing elements. Moving from one scale/order of magnitude to another, bringing us closer with the details of the construction details and then more distant with the dynamic vision of the building site and the synthesis of photography to the projects considered, a new participated method is developed to recognise the qualities which answer the needs of the many interactions which implement and /or hybridize Turin's present day urban system. |
