The guest editors, David D. Blouin and Alison R. Moss, and I hope that you enjoy this special edition of Teaching Sociology dedicated to graduate students and teaching. How graduate students are mentored into the teaching profession is a concern for all who teach sociology and for our discipline. We hope that these articles will provide useful insights into pedagogical practices that are working in a variety of institutions. David and Alison were committed to seeing this edition come to fruition and were a pleasure to work with these past months.
