Zusammenfassung:We present the results from experimental (in situ) measurements of the electrical resistance and thermal expansion of stainless steels in the temperature range 300–1000 K. Based on a correlation analysis of these properties, the decisive role of the thermal deformation of the atomic lattice in the formation of the electron scattering cross-section is established.
