Zusammenfassung:The process of virtual cathode (VC) formation in the electron beam of a vircator system with additional deceleration in a 3D electromagnetic model of electron flow are studied in detail. It is shown that the microwave radiation generated in this system is characterized by high level of noise, due to the complex and turbulent behavior of the flow in the drift space.
