Zusammenfassung:Turbostratic structure is studied on the atomic scale via high-resolution transmission electron microscopy for the pyrolytic carbon phase of a boron-rich pyrocarbon material. Based on an analysis of the experimental data and simulations of fast electron scattering by a test carbon atomic structure, it is shown that the pyrocarbon can be described as a set of continuous locally bended basal planes.
