A95 ACUTE PNEUMONIA: CLINICAL STUDIES: Inflammation Biomarkers In Blood As Mortality Predictors In Community-Acquired Pneumonia Admitted Patients: Importance Of Neutrophil Count Percentage And Neutrophil-Lymphocyte Ratio

Blood analyses upon admittance (0-24 hours) and in the early stage (72-120 hours) were carried out, where C reactive protein, Procalcitonin, ProADM, Copeptin, White blood cell counts, Neutrophil Count Percentage (NCP), Neutrophil/Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) were measured. According to AUC analysis, NCP i...

Zusammenfassung:Blood analyses upon admittance (0-24 hours) and in the early stage (72-120 hours) were carried out, where C reactive protein, Procalcitonin, ProADM, Copeptin, White blood cell counts, Neutrophil Count Percentage (NCP), Neutrophil/Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) were measured. According to AUC analysis, NCP in early-stage evolution was one of the best mortality predictors, even better than PSI and CURB65 scores (figure 1).
