A21 IMMUNE MECHANISMS OF SARCOIDOSIS AND OTHER GRANULOMATOUS DISEASES: Race Distinct Gene Expression Patterns In Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells And Bronchoalveolar Lavage Cells Of Sarcoidosis Subjects
Results: 147 and 45 paired PBMC and BAL cell samples, from black and white subjects, respectively, passed data quality control, and were included in the analysis. 76 and 417 genes were increased, 113 and 541 genes were decreased in BAL and PBMC, respectively in black compared to white subjects. 55 o...

Zusammenfassung: | Results: 147 and 45 paired PBMC and BAL cell samples, from black and white subjects, respectively, passed data quality control, and were included in the analysis. 76 and 417 genes were increased, 113 and 541 genes were decreased in BAL and PBMC, respectively in black compared to white subjects. 55 of the race related genes overlapped between PBMC and BAL. Other pathways increased in PBMC from black subjects included T cell receptor, CD28, MHCI immune response, and cell cycle pathways. |
