C80-E ADHERENCE TO OSA THERAPY: THE ACHILLES HEEL?: Predictors Of Long-Term Adherence To Auto-Titrating Positive Airway Pressure Therapy In Coronary Artery Disease Patients With Non-Sleepy And Sleepy Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Zusammenfassung: | The aims of this study were to evaluate CPAP discontinuation and long-term adherence and to identify predictors of CPAP adherence in non-sleepy and sleepy OSA patients in a revascularized coronary artery disease (CAD) cohort from the RICCADSA (Randomized Intervention with CPAP in Coronary Artery Disease and Obstructive Sleep Apnea) trial. Potential predictors were BMI, ESS, apnea-hypopnea index, % of nighttime spent with oxygen saturation < 90%, average hours of CPAP use per night at 1 month, treated hypertension, diabetes, acute myocardial infarction at baseline, coronary artery bypass grafting at baseline, and previous percutaneous coronary intervention or CABG. |
