Zusammenfassung: | Case Presentation: A 77 year old male with a past medical history of hypertension presented to the emergency department, with his family reporting a worsening non-productive cough, shortness of breath, and drowsiness for the past five days. Vitals were within normal range except a respiratory rate of 23 and oxygen saturation of 92% (room air.) Physical exam revealed a lethargic elderly kyphotic male, taking shallow respirations, with absent breath sounds at the right lung base, a normal heart and abdomen. |
