A108 LITTLE RED CLOT: NEW FRONTIERS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF ACUTE AND CHRONIC THROMBOEMBOLIC DISEASE: Fibrinogen Properties Help Predict Residual Pulmonary Vascular Obstruction After Pulmonary Embolism: Results From The Prediction Of Residual Obstruction Manifested After Pulmonary Embolism Treatment (prompt) Study

The model that best predicted RPVO (p < 0.00001) included the initial degree of obstruction, age, use of thrombolytic drugs, high proportion of monosialylated fibrinogen Bbeta chains, low proportion of phosphorylated Bbeta chains and low proproptions of monosialylated gamma chains. Less consisten...

Zusammenfassung:The model that best predicted RPVO (p < 0.00001) included the initial degree of obstruction, age, use of thrombolytic drugs, high proportion of monosialylated fibrinogen Bbeta chains, low proportion of phosphorylated Bbeta chains and low proproptions of monosialylated gamma chains. Less consistent associations were observed between PVRO and delays in presentation, older age, thrombolytic drug use and other post-translational modifications of fibrinogen.
