Zusammenfassung:Biopsy results included two patients with organizing pneumonia (OP), one with diffuse alveolar damage (DAD) due to graft vs host disease, one with DAD due to acute interstitial pneumonia (AIP), and one with bronchiolitis due to rheumatoid arthritis. Three of patients expired due to various issues as a complication of hospital course: septic shock, renal failure and acute respiratory distress syndrome which was on average 16 days after the biopsies.
