Zusammenfassung: | Introduction Re-exacerbations of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) are significant and common events in the clinical course of the disease and result in poorer clinical outcomes. On multivariate analysis, higher rates of Attempted Adherence during the first month post-discharge were associated with reduced risk of serious exacerbation over the study period, OR 0.32 (95% CI 0.11-0.93) p=0.03, while negative beliefs in medicine was associated with increased risk of serious exacerbation, OR 2.25 (95%CI 1.02-4.96) p=0.04. |
