Zusammenfassung:Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study of adult patients admitted to an ICU in an urban safety net hospital between 2011 and 2015 who were discharged home and were at moderate to high risk of hospital readmission in 30 days based on the LACE+ index. Conclusion: In ICU survivors at moderate to high risk of hospital readmission, the presence of an alcohol use disorder is associated with lower rates of outpatient follow-up after hospital discharge.
