Pulmonary Hypertension In Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction

Background: Pulmonary arterial compliance (PAC) is an independent predictor of mortality in patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH). Conclusion: RVOT-VTI/PASP, a novel non-invasive estimate of PAC, is significantly lower in patients with PAH compared to HFpEF-PH highlighting the need to further in...

Zusammenfassung:Background: Pulmonary arterial compliance (PAC) is an independent predictor of mortality in patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH). Conclusion: RVOT-VTI/PASP, a novel non-invasive estimate of PAC, is significantly lower in patients with PAH compared to HFpEF-PH highlighting the need to further investigate the prognostic value and effect of therapy on this metric in both of these population.
