C43 DRUG INDUCED LUNG DISEASE: CASE REPORTS: Diffuse Alveolar Hemorrhage: Who Is The Culprit?

Corresponding author's email: khawarmd@ucmail.uc.edu Introduction: Acute lung toxicity from amiodarone is a rare but well-known complication, with the pattern of involvement being acute or sub-acute interstitial pneumonitis. An 86-year-old male veteran with multiple comorbidities, including coronary heart disease status post three vessel coronary artery by pass graft surgery and persistent atrial fibrillation, presented initially to the emergency department after three weeks of increasing dyspnea on exertion, blood-tinged sputum, and found to have drop in hemoglobin from baseline and increasing supplemental oxygen requirements.
