C80-H THORACIC ONCOLOGY CASE REPORTS II: Rare Case Of Primary Pleural Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumour In An Adult Presenting As Hemothorax

Peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumour (pPNET) , now considered to belong to Ewing's sarcoma family of tumours (ESFT), are rare tumours and primary pPNETs of the lung are rarer still , with fewer than 20 cases described in English literature1. To the best of our knowledge this is the first case report in English literature of a primary pPNET in a young Asian male, presenting as tension hemothorax, and involving the pleura alone without involvement of chest wall , ribs , bony structures or lung parenchyma.
