Zusammenfassung:This article proposes a new microstrip antenna design for realizing bidirectional opposite‐sense circular polarization. For bidirectional circularly polarized radiation, the identical electric field with quadrature phase relationship are utilized using the orthogonal feeding and the asymmetrical cross‐shaped ground slot perturbing element. The measurement results of the proposed antenna show in good agreement with the simulations of reflection coefficients, axial ratios, antenna gains, and radiation patterns.
