Zusammenfassung: | An abstract of the study by Oglesby et al reviewing published literature to identify the causes and effects of burnout in athletic trainers (AT). Identify any demographic variables that increase the risk of experiencing AT burnout. Results show that the athletic training population were observing (i.e. AT students, certified graduate assistants, high school/collegiate staff members, academic faculty). Due to the multitude of work settings (e.g. collegiate, academic, high school, graduate assistant) that were examined as well as the qualitative nature of many of the studies, meta-analysis was not performed. |
