[HS3O10]− is the first conjugated base of the up to now still elusive superacid H2S3O10 and still a highly acidic particle itself. The anion was stabilized for the first time in a couple of simple salts with Na+, K+, and Rb+ as counter cations. The structures of the compounds are stamped by strong hydrogen bonds linking the anions into chains and dimers. More information can be found in the Full Paper by M. S.
