FLEXIBILIDADE DE MATÉRIAS-PRIMAS NO PROCESSO TECNORED

One of the main features of the Tecnored ironmaking process is its ability to use non-conventional iron and carbon bearing raw materials such as low grade ores or steel plant solid residues in the production of primary iron. This characteristic of the process has been demonstrated during the stage of pilot plant development and shall be exploited in the first industrial unit as well as to a rapid and worldwide diffusion of the technology afterwards. In this work the main aspects related with the use of different raw materials in the process are discussed.
