Zusammenfassung:Hypolipidemic agents are a diverse group of pharmaceutical substances used in the treatment of high levels of lipids and lipoproteins in the blood, used currently for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Capillary electrophoresis is a relatively new separation technique which is gaining more and more momentum in the analysis of pharmaceutical substances, including hypolipidemic agents like statins and fibrates. This review presents the applicability of different capillary electrophoresis techniques in the analysis of certain hypolipidemic agents.Keywords: hypolipidemic agents, fibrates, statins, capillary electrophoresis, pharmaceutical analysis
