Zusammenfassung:	Ultra‐slim curved LCD TV with thickness of 3.9 mm was successfully developed by using glass light guide plate (LGP). Since there are many different properties between glass LGP and traditional PMMA LGP, special technical considerations of ultra‐slim curved design such as mechanical and optical characteristics were simulated and analyzed.
