Production of Dispersed Powders of the Silicides of Metals from Group VI-B by the Electrolysis of Halide-Oxide Melts

We study the electrochemical behavior of chromium- (molybdenum-, tungsten-) and silicon-containing melts. The conditions of synthesis of the silicides of chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten in the form of highly dispersed powders by the electrolysis of halide-oxide melts are established.
