Zusammenfassung: | The research paper stresses on the role of mobile apps in the enhancement of the museum-visit experience. It focuses on the perceptions and public attitude for this type of device. Two qualitative studies are made. The first study shows that the usage of mobile apps during the museum visit improves the educational, recreational, social and customization values the consumer associates to such experience. The second study refers to the specific expectations of young people in this area and highlights in particular the characteristics of the application considered essential to living a gratifying and rewarding museum experience. |
