Zusammenfassung:Low-temperature filling of an adsorption natural gas (methane) storage system is analyzed theoretically with respect to fire- and explosion-safety and energy efficiency. It is shown that cooling during filling of the adsorption system increases the fire- and explosion-safety of the filling and storage systems. The temperatures to which low-temperature filling of an adsorption storage system has lower energy losses than a compressed-gas filling system without adsorbent in yearly average and summer modes are determined.
